SAM contributes to a breakthrough in UV-C technology
There is no need for pre-programming ('mapping') of a space. SAM does this autonomously and can be deployed in any room immediately. The operator moves SAM from point A to point B in the same way as a cleaning cart, avoiding unnecessarily complex control via a tablet.
SAM optimizes effectiveness by navigating the room intelligently, minimizing shadowing and the distance from the UV-C light source to objects. SAM calculates this optimal route on its own, thus preventing human errors.
SAM calculates how much UV-C light has reached each area of the room. This mathematical model has been validated through microbiological tests and digital dosimeters. SAM stops only when it has exposed every area to sufficient UV-C light. After each disinfection cycle, SAM sends a disinfection report to the Disinfection Portal."
